While our members are all at home and remaining in their houses and gardens they are keeping busy, many with art work, some watching and suggesting excellent films but most are relishing this time to paint and create. We thought we'd take this opportunity to share with you what some of them have been up to and hopefully give you some inspiration.
Nia Lloyd Hughes has been busy sharing art challenges with her many art groups and with children's groups, every two weeks she posts a different challenge onto her website for everyone to have a go at. Janet Bligh has been sharing her surplus art materials with children in her local community and they have been showing her work through her window, a great way to encourage budding young artist and to share something about watercolour painting.
Glenn Ibbitson continues to study moths that visit the Nant moth trap and includes them in his current body of work
Simon Jones is producing films of the watercolour painting process of his San Gimignano work
Nicki Heenan has also been sharing videos of her painting, including live tutorials via her Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/NickiHeenanArtist. This week she has been showing demonstrations of painting Cherry trees, the last of the Daffodils and has been talking compositions all live on her Facebook page.
